The Alblas Family
The Alblas Family

Although Jim has recently excepted the position of Senior Pastor at Pioneer CRC, we kept their profile on site because they have been such a big part of the Coit family.

Jim and Suzie came to Coit Church separately, but were united together in 2006 to form a powerful team dedicated to the Lord.

Jim was led to Coit Church in 2000 as a student at Calvin College and started to get involved in almost all of the ministries of the church. Two years later and after graduation, Jim was hired by the Church to do outreach and evangelsim. Through his involvement in the church, Jim sensed the Lord calling him to become a minister in the Church and started Calvin Seminary in 2004.

It was around this time that Suzie was led to Coit Church from the state of Indiana as a single parent mother of four (David, Alex, Dominique and Isaac). Her arrival at Coit Church and under the discipleship of Pastor Jerome, sparked a new outlook on life and a greater committment to serve the Lord.

Two years later, Jim and Suzie were married and now together are looking to serve the Lord as one. Jim graduated from the Seminary this past summer 2008, and has accepted the Senior Pastor position at Pioneer CRC 5/2009.  Congratulations Jim & Suzie, your family will be missed greatly.
